Default Let's give the oil companies a billion dollars of our money.....

Charlie Huggins, ( that Repugnant Senator from Wa-silly), wants to give nearly a billion dollars of Alaska revenue back to big oil such as Exxxxon.

He suggests this in just a matter of hours after Exxon reports a record 40 billion dollars in profits.

40 billion isn't enough, I guess, ....Charlie wants to give them another billion of the state's money too.

Wa-silly elects all the whackos, eh?

It's SB 242 if you want to let your representatives know how much you appreciate Charlie's efforts to give a billion dollars of your money to big oil.

Good question. It is still tangled up in the courts... They're now claiming that maritime law does not require them to pay up.

Maybe Alaska should just take over all of their oil assets in the state till they comply.

The bill (SB 242) has been sent to the Senate Finance Committee.

If any of you Alaskans want to let any, or all, of your representatives know how much you appreciate Charlie Huggin's efforts on behalf of big oil, send your messages here:

Alaska State Public Opinion Message System: Communicate with your legislators

Me, I didn't tell any of them that I thought big oil deserved a billion dollars back.

..

Next election cycle we might be able to unseat the remaining members of the CBC...

....they sure don't represent Alaskan voters.
