I'd be surprised if Ron Paul is even on the Presidential ballot.

The whole Libertarian party makes me very uneasy because I think they intentionally appeal to the very naive among us. Their rhetoric sounds quite good, on the surface.

But my word...whatever that party originally started out to be...it has been taken over by right wingnuts who call themselves constitutional purists.

Ron Paul wants to run the country **BY** the Constitution. I would at least think you would agree with him about the Constitution.

He would like to dismantal the Federal Reserve, but not rip the foundation out from under us but ease us into a real currency. I would at least think you'd agree with him about the Federal Reserve. (I am certain you are more familiar with that topic than I am.)

He would like to ***immediately*** bring all our troops home and use our military might to DEFEND our country, not start wars all over hell and back. I thought you might at least agree with him about bringing the troops home.

I want you to source every one of your accusations that he stands for any of the things you posted above. Otherwise you are just posting empty rhetoric you learned on the TV which, in case you haven't noticed, has severely limited Ron Paul's right to have a presence and to speak out, in his own words, on the issues.

Might explain why his biggest following is on the internet, however it's a mighty big following.

Well, now, I agree he can be annoying, and sometimes there is disagreement on exactly what the point is that is trying to be made, but, I recall his insistence on sourcing stuff, and of course sourcing stuff RELIABLY, so this is an awfully interesting topic for me, to get to the bottom of where he is quoting from, of course with the ulterior motive that if anyone reading this forum is truly unfamiliar with Ron Paul's message they can start looking to get the info straight from the horse's mouth before making up their minds.

I talked to a Ron Paul campaign worker at a gun show last weekend. He said that RP is not going to be running on the Libertarian ticket but on the Republican ticket. It should be an interesting battle.

Yes, he is a Republican. I think people will be surprised at the number of votes he gets, if we have any kind of honest accounting of the votes this time around.
