RP is running in the Republican Primary for the presidential nomination. He has already received over 1/2 the votes that he is going to get. So far he has 14 delegates. He needs 1191 to win the nomination. McCain has close to 900.

Sounds like he might be better off running libertarian...

I believe that very recently, Ron Paul acknowledged that he has no real chance of winning the Republican nomination. I think he also said that he would not be seeking the Libertarian Party's nomination. So I guess if you want to vote for him you'll have to write him in.

Well, to do that, he'd have to run on the LP ticket. According to their nominee's website, at least, he won't be doing that.

Not necessarily. If he's as popular as Alice claims on the internet (which doesn't make a lot of sense, since people on the internet still represent real people in real life) then he could potentially mount a fairly good write-in campaign...

Yes, we can only hope. I really don't believe he's all that popular though or that the internet is a very good indication of what the electorate is gonna do. And I'm not sure from what I've read that he would be interested in a write in campaign. I think he's done

I think that after McCain wins the Republican primary, JP is done with his attempt to get to the white house.
He did run on the LP ticket years ago--'88 I think. |
