Nothing. The temperature has dropped and there is a breeze, but nothing significant yet.

Take a look at NOAA--all of SE except for Haines is red. It won't be much longer now. It's snowing here.

If some of you may remember I said that winter, here in N.C. "sometimes I have to wear socks" well, today I didn't, won't tomorrow either, cutoffs and tanktop tomorrow, throwing balls & frisbees for the dogs, watching the chickens forage in the yard. The hens are still laying, no chicken house proper, just an open sided pole barn and wooden boxes filled with straw. Chickens used to go into the woods, Foxes, chickens no longer go into the woods. Foxes started coming into the yard for chickens, Dreifus- 95lb male German Shepherd, 3 dead foxes that we are sure of. Foxes no longer come into the yard, a truce exists. My legs have not lost all of their summer tan, not ghastly white, probably won't get that way this winter. It's February, dang near spring around here, by the end of this month, my garden will be tilled and ready to be planted.
