Default endorsements

I just WISH I could get an endorsement from the eddie folks.

I did get a $50 refund from them though, originally bought the jacket for $150. When they mailed it to me it had their "winter clearance sale" catalog inside, which had the new $99 price. All I had to do was call them and they credited my card back the fifty bucks, all nice and easy.

We'll see how "waterproof" it is when it warms up a bit. It's negative two outside and snowing that ultra-fine dust-like snow, which is blowing around at thirty or forty knots again. The stuff is like talcum powder, gets into everything. Gotta keep the woodstove going when it gets like this, the monitor isn't quite keeping up. Oh well, I guess you pay for an ocean view in more than one way.

Hey Rotor', is that -2 F or -2 C? I thought your area don't get that cold. A guy can freeze his tail off in that kinda weather.

Default big change yesterday...

Actually it was unseasonably cold for about a week or two, hovering between zero and about five or ten degrees F. with occasional dips into the single-digit negatives. Yesterday it warmed up over thirty degrees F. literally within hours, been hitting almost fourty degrees F. at times during the last couple days. The place is a sea of slush that turns into a skating rink at night.

Been pushing, pulling and towing folks out of the ditches and snowbanks lately, it's good to have a new set of studs when thing get like this.

W/global warming, your area should be like So. Ca. pretty soon. But just stay away from the coast. The oceans are going to rise a few feet from all that melting icebergs. I believe every word brother Gore says. And you all better stock up bermuda shorts and short sleeve shirts. Goose downs clothing will not be needed.

...ever notice the denialists always think they're providing some kind of literate insight by posting their ill-conceived, lame attempts at sarcasm.
