I don't know anything about that mine. There has always been controversy around Pebble. My own particular worksite resembles a bunch of rats deserting a sinking ship at the moment so I'm going to Montana until salmon season starts

Billings, imagine that!
Whenever the urge to shop at the mall strikes, (not very often, don't own/need a Coach purse) Billings is the closest one to these parts.

Pretty country if you stay away from people...I'm not much for the 'big' city anymore. Anyway, hope you enjoy your vacation!

Well from what i read the mine is a threat to Bristol Bay's trout & salmon fisheries. The company behind the project "says" that they will respect the environment & be ethical.
I don't know anything about the companies involved & thought that you may have some links up your sleeve that give more information about it all.
