does anyone know about the fishing in anchorage. i would like to know if any of you or any of the people u know work on the boats or in the land plants about how much they pay and if they get alot of overtime. me and my familey would like to move there just had a few questions first. i would appreciate some replies please. thank u

Kenai has a handfull of canneries, also Homer. I don't know if there are any in Anchorage itself. Kodiak also has canneries. Then there are the more remote places like Naknek that have some pretty big canneries. They have housing and meals for the workers, which spend up to 3 months living and working at the cannery.
