Trust me that won't take long. We just weighed her and the other pups tonight (15 days old) she is already 3 lbs 10oz. They are so cute walking and stumbling around with their eyes open...they act more like drunks sometimes...but still cute. They are even starting to play with each other and knaw on each other's tails and ears and growl with each other...and let's not forget HOWL. Dawn is going to have a dog who will talk to her when she sees her mommy come home from work

Big won't take long at all, old enough with enough stamina and muscle to keep up is another thing...Might need a doggie pack and carry her when she tires???

Hardly, our Mals about dragged me across train tracks when they were barely 6 months old and I was pulling with everything I had...they are incrediably strong at even a young age. Besides at 2 months old when they can take her home I don't think they will want to carry her around by then.

True on the carrying at that size weight training maybe???, what I meant even as big as they are at 2 months, the stamina for long walks is not there as still in the nap alot stage, they tire easily and especially with the hip problems, etc., with larger dogs, don't want them to over do anything when they are growing so fast...

True, but it won't take little Sophie long to catch up. Exercise and RAW food is best to combat any growth issues or dysplasia. Matter of fact raw fed dogs don't get hip dysplasia...

Notice that hubby is snow machining up wicked inclines....and I am more inclined to be on terra firma with snow shoes? Sophie can keep me company while he does the man-guy thing. My dog back home also pulled when we walked, took about 2 miles to get him tired enough to walk normal....and with a little better training from me we'd have done a lot better.
When we went out to eat in Houston last night, we watched a car drive down a long, empty road by the restaurant....it stopped and let 2 dogs out of the car....then he drove and they chased the car.....then he opened the doors and let them back in. We watched him turn around and drive back to the other end of the road......and they let them out to do it all over again. Now that's intriguing.
(don't worry Stephanie, not my plan!! )

And with some practice you can even get the pup to say "Mommy".
