It hit 84 at Deadhorse, that just blows my mind. I believe that's an all-time record there. So far north, on the water, and still getting that hot. Fascinating.

It was 97 in Fairbanks yesterday.

We're having an employee bbq today and I drew the short straw and had to go get all the food from bushmail at Sam's Club yesterday. We don't have a receiving dock or a freight elevator, so I had to offload 3 pallets of sh*t by hand in that heat.

FML. Seriously.

86.4 was the official high there yesterday. I also saw the image of 96 degrees at the airport that has been widely circulated, but it must have been wrong.

Amazing. Beats the old record of 69 by 15 degrees!

We had a high of around 85 and a great thunderstorm. But it started about 12 fires on the delta.

Only in Alaska do people start complaining about how hot it is when it breaks 80! Currently 85 where I'm at. Everyone in the Southeast talking about 60's and the wood stove firing up are rain worshippers and I still wouldn't trade weather with you .
