This is not record heat wave. Every now in the interior of Alaska we have summers with a few hot days, just like this week. There also are temperature changes, from night to day, of over 30 degrees. For example, it can be 50 degrees F. at night, and 86 degrees during the day.

Today, Saturday, it's around 60 degrees and raining.

I just got off the phone with my friend that lives on the river in NP... apparently it's been raining cats and dogs in NP all day, but not a drop in Fox. Cloudy and low 60s... very nice.
