I'll tell him to keep his eyes open. As it is I'm sending a queen air mattress and two twin air mattresses up just so we have beds.

Do NOT let kids play on them...if nothing else pick up and lean against wall when you get up...we learned that one and with dogs..not good...wake up and "PLUMPH" flat on floor in middle of the night...

One thing I forgot to ask about is the school there.... I like my children to be challenged and I've noticed some schools are better than others and was just wondering if any of you know how the schools there are?

There is one school district here which runs four grade schools and a preschool. I know that the ME School has a great system and great teachers. I don't know about the Kilbuck though, they're moving into a new school building this fall. Your 10 year old will most likely go into that. For the younger one, there is a preschool here, not sure about the ages. There is an immersion school here that teaches the kids the Yup'ik Language and nothing but that language, might want to look into that.

Ok well that gives me a general idea anyway. My son will be in 5th grade this year and my middle daughter will be in 1st grade. Our baby is only 2 so we won't have to worry about her for a few years! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!

ok thanks I just estimated the price on my first box to ship up... all the kids bedding is going to be about 25.00 and will take 11 days to get there. That is 3 twin sheet sets, 3 pillows and 3 twin comforters... so probably not even enough blankets for winter time.... but its a start!!
