Default Fuel on Dalton Highway

We're planning trip to Alaska this summer, including driving the Dalton Highway - all available info states there are 3 spots to stop for gas on the highway - but nothing about ultra low diesel fuel which we need for our truck. Will be bringing extra diesel fuel cans, but I don't know how many I will need. Does anyone know - or perhaps which companies run gas stations on the road so I can contact them directly.

There is a station in Coldfoot. And you can get fuel at the Coleville/Tesoro station in Deadhorse. I drove my gas powered minivan to Deadhorse last fall. So I don't know about the type of diesel available.

Ultra low must mean that the diesel won't freeze. People around here use #1 diesel/stove oil in their trucks. Ultra low can mean Jet-A like the turbine airplanes use, too. It is a different blend of diesel and it has extra filters at the pump.

Not really, diesel is a different blend from unleaded. Unleaded has a higher flash/burn point than diesel. Ever hear of google? lol.

Um, Diesel engines don't have spark plugs(them white things that produce spark to burn the gas in your cylinders).
