Its just over 300 miles. If the roads are good and there are no delays, you can do it in about 5 and a half hours. Whith a stop for lunch and a break for the kids, it usually takes us 6 and a half to 7 hours.

Glenn Highway, turn right on the Richardson (look at a road map). Also, have lots of cash for fuel, specially at Glennallen. I remember paying $2.98 per gallon in Fairbanks, and $3.42 in Glennallen las summer.

Don't forget to stop by the Brown Bear Rhodehouse for some good food. Stop by the Hub Of Alaska and get Reindeer Sausage made up in Delta Junction. Alaska is about food as it is scenery.
