Question Flightseeing: choose Denali or Prince William Sound?

I am making reservations for my first trip to Alaksa (end of June/early July) and would love some help in making a decision. My budget will allow for one flightseeing tour, and I can't decide between two options - Anchorage to Denali National Park, or Anchorage to Prince William Sound. Both are around the same time and costs.

In my plans I have cleared one day to rent a car and drive down the Seward Highway, so I know I'll be near Prince William Sound, anyway. Not the same as flying above it, I'm sure.

I know it all comes down to preference, but since this is my first trip there, I don't know enough to have an opinion! I wish I could see it all, but one thing I have leanred from this forum is that a person could spend years in Alaska and still never see everything.

Thanks for your input!

No matte which one you choose, ask the airline carrier if they're enrolled in the Medallion Foundation, this means that the company has better training in their system to make air travel safer. You can see the companies here:

Medallion Foundation, Inc.

I've lived here all my life and I still have not seen the whole state. I haven't been to the slope, Denali Highway, McArthy, Kodiak, most of Southeast, the Chain, or the drive up to Chicken. Kotzebue area is a nice place to check out and Nome.
