Anyone here big fans of Mountain Men Episodes on History Channel? I have been learning a lot about bush and cabin life. I use the live streaming from Direct TV Now on my Internet Spectrum. Let me know your feedback to the shows? Ice Road Truckers is from before ideas..

If you think that is real or worth the electricity it takes to power the TV I feel bad for you. All of the Alaska reality crap is just that BS crap.

I think Alaska is great! Been working and living in that state for four times. Glacier Bay National Park Lodge, Denali National Park, and Skagway, Alaska. 1984, 1985, 2007, 2009. I had a full life of Alaska. And drove From Florida to Denali National Park, Alaska solo round trip.

He's not talking about "Alaska Bush People". He's talking about the Alaska people on "Mountain Men". Maybe you should come up here and tell them they are fake. Bring band aids and some ice packs.

We try to watch all the "Alaska" shows, EXCEPT Alaskan Bush People. I watched about 15 minutes of the first show and that was minutes too much. I enjoy Mountain Men.

LOL ... lived in Fairbanks 38 years ... you can have it. Crowded, expensive, traffic from hell, pollution, smoke most summers ...

As I said ... ALL of the Alaska reality shows are pure BS. Alaska people are fine. Of the group only two of the "cast" actually are in Alaska!

Oh okay. Thanks for sharing your uninformed opinion. Marty has been doing this long before Mountain Men was every dreamed up.

That show may be edited, but Marty Meierotto is as genuine as they come. Anyone who says differently is speaking out of turn.

I will say it again and type real slow ... the PEOPLE are fine. Marty may be right there with superman, but that IS NOT the point I made.

Alaska reality shows are BS. They are hyped to hell and back and so distorted that they don't deal much with the real world. That is why they are called reality shows.

@stiffnecked ... I see how you got the handle ... another forum queen

^ I usually don't agree with you, but stiff has been awful to me on this forum in the past.

As for Marty, real men don't trap furs so that vain, vapid white trash women can wear them to "dress up." I hope that asshat gets caught in one his own traps.
