Oh, I was assuming January, as in the title. But I see that the text says in the next few weeks.

Anything is possible. Right? So far so good for us, since I am getting a little tired of the extreme cold weather.

When are the approximate dates you'll be traveling through there? I follow the weather pretty closely for those parts. My wife and I made a trip up there in January 1989. Was very memorable to say the least. There was an incredibly cold arctic air mass that settled through much of the state during then. The highway that ran from Cantwell up through the Alaska range was a white knuckler with -25F temps. and windchills to around -70F with near whiteout conditions. Our time in Fairbanks saw several days the temps. that didn't make it above -40F during our visit then. I don't anticipate that kind of cold now but the weather has been very unsettled with heavy snowfalls as of late. I'll keep you up to date weatherwise if you wish.
