Default Do I Need a Pasport?

I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. We are now required to have a passport to travel to mainland USA. But do I need to have a passport to go to Alaska, which is a state?

I sometimes wonder, when crossing the border, how many people just walk around the border station.

You can stand on the border and look in both directions. There is a line for aways, but no one is watching it.

If anyone wanted to get into Alaska for nefarious purposes it sure wouldn't be hard.

Sweden straddling Alaska and Canada. Yes...you need a passport. Alaska "is" a state.

I thought it was but I watch the Weather Chanel every morning and they don't mention Alaska or Hawii so I thought maybe Bush sold them to pay off the national debt or something.

If only we could be so lucky. I'd just as soon see them put a fence around the entire state and post no tresspassing signs! Admission by invitation only! Violators will be hog tied and air dropped in the middle of Kansas or something!

Oh Rance I like the way you think, wouldn't that be the greatest idea of all. We do have a great deal of folks that I can't imagine that they were invited so we could send them home.

IF ONLY........only to dream
