Oh, we're not allowed near the ships. They set out big fencing on the dock to prevent us from getting close. I was incredibly tempted to sneak onto one once- it was a smaller thing, more like a yacht, and no one was guarding the entrance...

Someone in Juneau should start a business called "Lets watch the tourists" and have like stadium seating by the docks. They can charge 5 bucks a head to watch people get off of the ships. Have a beer drinking contest or something whenever you see white sneakers or one of them ugly raincoats, when you see one, everyone chug! Can make millions.

I have been on one of the big ones. Every spring Holland America invites the graduating class onboard and treats them to lunch on the ship.

Food was freaking awesome.

Well to us the food was awesome. It was a three course meal. The main meal you had a choice of pasta, salmon, or an apple glazed burger or something. Of course this was a meal created just us, you know, being picky eaters and all
