..will be running again for office this fall. Not a bright bulb to start with, his aged related cognitive decline has become quite evident lately. Some of his responses in this Q and A are practically incoherent.

Will Alaskans nevertheless elect him once again? Well, of course they will!

Just about 1/2 of our US Congress is in the same shape. Nancy Pelosi, who can ever understand what she is talking about???

Maybe we deserve him.

I mean, if we continue as an electorate to keep re-electing him (many times without any challenge) when we have had multiple opportunities to elect an articulate and enlightened representative who won't keep making us look like backward, ill-mannered hicks devoid of compassion and simple human kindness and civility, then we have no one to blame but ourselves for who represents us.

Does he truly represent who we are as Alaskans and the best that we are or can ever be?

If not, then who will we vote for to replace him and restore our dignity as Alaskans?

Dunno about Pelosi, don't believe your claim about the numbers in a similar condition nationwide.

In any case, not an excuse for Alaskans to reelect someone who is clearly suffering from dementia.

Seems like almost nothing stops an incumbent Republican from getting reelected in this state. I stopped voting for Young after the Coconut Road incident. Besides being a clear indicator of corruption, he lost a lot of his power in the House after that. It is just plain time to put someone new in there.

If AK voters can't figure out how to vote him out, maybe the next time he shows up here someone should sic an enraged Anchorage moose on him as he shuffles to the next corporate fundraising dinner.

I am convinced that we have some members of Congress with IQ's below 90. Seriously. Think about that for a second.

Yes....we do have several very high ranking members around the ago of 80. Now I am 59 and have noticed that I am not quite as sharp as I used to be. I'm certain that cognitive skills in the late 70's are significantly lacking in general.

"But we have to pass it so we can see what's in it." What kind of absolute inanity is that anyway?
