As far as thunderstorms in the valley area...many? Severe? Evidently not tornadic. I like a fine thunderstorm...am usually the idjit one sees out shooting images of lightning.

Ok, this may sound a bit strange,but.... I've always liked a really active thunderstorm, I find them soothing, particularly in my seriously mis-spent youth (still do, of course) they made me think that nature had as bad a temper as did I. In time, my temper abated quite a bit. Nowadays I really like the smells after the thunderboomers roll past, the lights, and the sounds the winds create as they hurry through my woods, are great extras.

When I lived in Arkansas back in the mid 80's I would get up at 3:00 am just to sit and watch lightning out the window.
