Barrow (find a job, camp, to live)

If I wanted to go to Barrow to live and work for the summer, would this even be possible? Any help at all? Thank you in advance.

I can't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to do that if you want to.

Housing isn't a problem to find here, just that it is expensive. Plenty of it though. Plus in the summer you could easily pitch a tent on the beach or on the tundra either one and "rough it" if you are that kinda person.

Work is a question of what you are skilled at and what you are willing to do. I'll almost guarantee you can find enough work to feed yourself. You might not be able to make enough to save up for a plane ticket out though, so do start with a round trip ticket! Bring enough money to feed yourself for a couple weeks at least (which means 3-4 weeks in the Lower-48), just in case it takes time to find a job.
