Hi, I am looking at replacing the chains on my 86 8X8 magnum argo with the 50-2 chain. The dealer will cost about 1K, so that isn't an option. I have been looking online for chain and not sure what to go with.
How do I know what is a quality chain, that will hold up on an argo? I am looking at Jeremywell International out of CA, the chain doesn't seem overly priced: 45.58 for 10 ft with free shipping:

I found some Tsubaki chains on ebay, 2 10ft RC50 and one 10ft RC40, I'll replace both sets of back chains for now and the chains off the transmission. I'll look at replacing the 4 front chains this winter, since they don't look quite as bad as the back ones. thanks.

I love it! Course, now I want a more powerful one with higher ground clearance!
I am considering going with an argo as my primary utv, if it works good in the winter.

Finally made the upgrade to a 2018 Avenger with a 30hp, can't wait to use it this summer! It came with tracks so I am thinking about putting them on and see how it does in the snow.......have to do some maintenance first.
