You will have it made if you are in AF housing. The fuel cost is high, but not out of line with the rest of the US....I was up in Fairbanks last week and gas was $4.16. My daughter lives up there, and is attending UAF...
Fairbanks folks are great! Friendly, and helpful. I enjoy the history, which you can appreciate from NE....but for Fairbanks it was gold....still an important part of the economy. Be a tourist, but also embrace it with respect....Fall comes fast, you will want good studded tires on by the first of October! |
