alaska job wanted
I am a truck driver and I have heard that construction companies in Alaska are looking to hire. I am from Canada and this company takes care of flying you in to work for 2 weeks and then fly you home for 2 weeks. Does anyone know who this company is? It'd be great if you could send me info.

I think they are only looking for US Citizens that are already in Alaska. They fly you to the work site and then back to your home in Fairbanks or Anchorage. I think it's part of the "Real Jobs for Real Alaskan's" program.

You're not going to get great answers here because we believe that Alaskan money should stay in the state. Not much irks me more than people who want to get rich quick and run back home with our money.

Those jobs are not as easy to get as you think. If you want to come to AK and live here better have some cash stored back until you get the job. And those jobs your talking of require an FBI background check and that can take up to 4 weeks to all through. As we are waiting on that as well.
