Default Looking for position in Wasilla

This is my first time on this site. My son and daughter in law will be taking positions near Wasilla. I am therefore, looking for full time employment in the Wasilla area. I am currently an Office Manager for a physician's practice in the Denver area and would like to do the same, if possible. I will expand my horizons, however, to any sort of vet clinic or associated medical/hospital clinic. I have a strong background in people skills and accounts receivable. Please let me know if anyone knows of any positions open. Thanks, all!

I have heard there is a great demand for medical workers in the valley area. We don't have many "clinics" out here, but there is a new hospital and lots of medical providers. Qualified help for these positions is scarce here too. I'll bet if you send your resume to the medical providers here, you will have a job in no time.

Would you be referring to all those over qualified valley residents? Give me a break. Classic valley attitude and exactly why I'm out of here. Keep drinking your nightly six pack and blaming all other factions of society for your own ills.

Lady, if you are qualified, you will have no problem. Trust me, qualified help in the valley is virtually nill. Especially when it comes to the medical field. One of only two clinics in town does not even usually staff a real doctor. They have a male nurse practitioner.

First of all, competition is tough in the Valley. I would say there are as many qualified folks in the Valley as there is in Anchorage. Not sure what you mean by talking about a "classic valley attitude." Medical jobs as well as office positions ARE scarce in the Valley. You seem to have an attitude yourself there and you obviously don't like the Valley.

If you think I'm kidding about jobs being scarce in Wasilla and Palmer, take a look at the classifieds and the internet; just why do you think so many Valley residents commute to Las Anchorage?

I have no idea, as I have not been inside the home yet. As ofnow we have agreed to a early termination agreement. They are to leave me the deposit, plus one month in exchange for me letting them out early. All this because the snuck two dogs into my home.

I have a list of new prospective tenants, so all shall be fine, unless they wrecked the place.

Well said, and you are absolutely right. I just hope the door doesn't hit Travelmate38 on his way out of the state, and good riddance. Mod Cut-could have done without that remark
