Cool, I've never seen the word used as an adjective.
I hear there's a new word in use, "mock-worthy." As in "NOAA issued a mock-worthy forecast that Alaskans would see an early spring in 2009."

Well, I was pretty mock-worthy when I kept calling the Glenn Highway here "Highway 1"

Then hubby kept giving people our area code with our phone number
<----elbowed hubby, Pssst, the WHOLE state is 907 honey

That got a good chuckle. That would make a good "you know you're an Alaskan" type statement.

I wouldn't fret too much over the area code. I routinely give the 907 out because of work. I've made a lot of calls south over the years and it's become automatic for me to give the area code almost all the time.

Now, what's Highway 1?

Yeah.....Hwy 1 being the Glenn... Believe me, I took my licks at work for that one .

Also put glass cleaner in my truck to clean the headlights off from roadspray........was so proud of myself stocking up the truck with survival items. My trainer at work laughed at me and said "you need a sprayer with windshield fluid rated for below zero temps." Humph. What did she know. By the end of that workday, my windex bottle could be used to keep food cold as it had frozen into an iceblock.
I embrace ANY advice I get from my local friends now .
