Isn't it weird when threads get a totally random post? I never know what to make of it.

Yep, still have some more unpacking to do but that's to be expected. I'm also involved in a job hunt. My wife already commutes to Anchorage so I'm trying to find employment here in the Valley. It's not exactly easy. However, it's not like we're going to starve if it takes me a few more weeks to land one.
We actually got a sunny day today. It's been cloudy almost every day since we got here. I could care less though. At least the weather changes here. In San Jose, it's the same every single day-sunny in the 80's. Boring.
This is a pic off of my back deck where I sit and sip Johnny Walker Red:

Not exactly sure what that is (I'm not into horses-it's the wife's deal) but we're in a horse neighborhood. The wife does dressage. Plus, the next 3 neighbors down the line all have pastures and arenas similar to ours.

Is it Obama's support of the supreme court ruling today declaring the DC handgun ban unconstitutional that inspires this, his fiscal responsibility in comparison with John McCain's proposed credit-card debt-laden budget, or is it his numerous ethics reform accomplishments and further proposals to make our government more transparent and accountable?
Is there a particular policy that you are opposed to? Is it his middle class tax cut that benefits people making up to $200k+ (a real elitist, right?) more than McCain's tax cuts help (the VAST majority [not plurality, majority] go to the top income earners) or his plan to remove any income tax from seniors making $50k or less a year? Is it the fact that he correctly predicted the disaster that would turn out to be Iraq before the war even started?
Are there a particular set of policies that set you off?
Or is it because he has a (D) next to his name?
Silly Howard Dean and his balanced budgets and fiscal surplus and repeated endorsements from the NRA while governor of Vermont...latte liberals am I right?!
