hi ADAKers, Like many of you I miss ole Adak, I was a Navy Rigger ran the Paraloft at least half of it, EOD took the other half, I called a few years ago and was told that I could rent my old Navy House if I wanted, Believe they said $600.00/mo. If I was Single it might not be a bad deal. It is sad to hear that it is run down so bad. My house was New they build them in Seattle Area and moved them by crane to where base housing is today. I am looking for an old Shipmate, Mike Gordon. Hope he is still around. He knew Adak better than most that I knew. Look forward to corresponding.

Did you know an air traffic controller named Joe C? Who had a wife named Cathy and a son named Steve? I was 2 and 3 years old then, and my brother was born on Adak in 1965.
