I just wanted to say I AM SURPRISED THEY WOULD EVER BE FULL,Barrow doesnt have that many people do they??
I mean how many visitors you guys have annually??
Dont get me wrong,I am glad they are full!! (Getting plenty of business)
We send guys up there for work all the time, and there's been a couple of different times all the hotels were full. There's only a couple and Barrow is a regional hub for the North Slope.

Full hotels is pretty much the norm for Barrow and I don't think Top of the World has opened since the fire at Pepe's. That's a lot of rooms that aren't available at the moment.
I strongly doubt Pepe's will ever be a thing again, its foundation is not even there anymore, looks like rocky pit now. There is a new Hotel being built by the Post Office, looks close to completion.
Can i ask why people NECRO these posts ? its rather strange to reply to a post made 5 years ago, and why are they even retained after 2 years ?

I bet sometimes it is not on purpose, a forum or google search brings up the post and the new poster doesn't look at the date of the post.
