BO - that doesn't sound good...Barking Owl - Leave the shorts home, like Highland Lady said, especially in a month - , depending on where you are going - probably won't need the lined Carhart's. Probably need a raincoat for sure if coming to the peninsula - If I remember right from last year...
If coming to the peninsula - let me know ahead of time and you can camp out here - on me - in the 5th wheel with everything you'd want and more - short of maybe dry outside or sun!!!! We are about an hour from Homer so you can take a day trip if coming this way.... Will have to go read up on what you're doing.

Another wonderful day, over 65 on my thermometer - no rain, drizzle or snizzle for two days, sun is shining, is windy, but quite okay. I could do this one for summer. My 4-year-granddaughter would run naked if I would let her, but we would have to deal with mosquitos biting her behind afterward, so not for now!!!!

Kids would do that any chance they get. I remember my youngest son running away naked just before my wife could hold him to put a new diaper on. The front door was open, and she was distracted a little. That's when he took off running and laughing, too.

LOL!!! My youngest, now 21 (this one's mother) would take off from the yard when she was about 1-1/2 to 2, if I turned the other way for a second, rip her clothes off, the diaper off, and run for the nearest sprinkler in the neighborhood, grab a lawn ornament (flamingo, bunny) and come back with "goosies" all over her from being cold, if I didn't get her first. She knew the good spots!!!!

After a day of rain (yesterday) and this morn...it looks as though the sun is attempting to come out for awhile!!! WOOT! It is actually warm on my balcony, peaceful with the remaining rain on the leaves merrily tinkling down. 52º and not a breeze.

Decided to go to Chitina last Friday, and it was raining all the way to Glennallen. But it was beautiful by the Copper River. Didn't catch any salmon, but took a few photos by the river and then on my way back Saturday.

The Tazlina:

A very small pond by the Richardson, not too far from the Gulkana:
