Does anyone have pictures they can post of the spit before the '64 quake?

I've got some old ones from Portage area but nothing of the Homer spit. I don't think things changed too much on the spit during the earthquake.

The way I hear it, the spit used to be grass covered and after the quake, it dropped 6+ feet.

There are some great websites out there with extensive pictures and geologic data from the whole state.

I was there in Anchorage and it was my birthday. Some party.

When you arrive in Alaska, go to Anchorage and go to Earthquake Park. Information there posted and a beautiful skyline.

I know you are searching for photos before the quake hit...but this site is the mother-lode of photos after the quake in areas affected. There are a few comparison shots of different areas - before and after.
