Travelmate38 has it exactly right. Corruption is corruption regardless of which political party it emanates from. Personally, as far as I'm concerned regarding Ted Stevens, good riddance. The Senate could use about 99 more Tom Coburns. Maybe then we wouldn't be running a $482 billion annual federal deficit! Whaddaya think?
You can keep Feinstein, she's closed most of California's "Public Land" to the public and we don't want her closing anymore land across America.

How about that ole $500 million dollar bridge scam....the one that thankfully got 86'd

That was a scam of lower 48 federal gas-tax dollars for the benefit of a few Alaska contractors that were no doubt on the pay-back list of several Alaska Republicans in government corruption

There isn't any reason to have a bridge there, especially one that would need to be high enough for a cruise ship to pass under

Rance tell us about your bridge ?

Sad thing is, after all those years in congress, he will probably die in a minimum security prison. Even just the few charges they have on him will carry at least 15 years in the slammer. Teds probably only got 5-8 years left on this earth.

Right, that is why the Rep. William Jefferson (D-LA) keeps $90,000 in his freezer, because Republicans from Alaska forced him to take bribes.

Greed and corruption are the norm everywhere in DC. You're just jealous because our crooks got more money than your crooks.

What a flat out blatant lie! You are only dancing in the streets because it was a Republican who got busted. Democrats can commit murder and you would be a happy camper, but if a Republcan gets a ticket for J-Walking you scream "OFF WITH THEIR HEAD!" We know your hypocritical ilk all too well.

First of all it was $398 million, not $500 million. Secondly, it didn't get axed. The Knik Arm Crossing is still in the planning stages. Thirdly, that bridge will service more than 30,000 daily commuters and provide a vital secondary access to the Kenai Peninsula.

So far you aren't impressing us with your knowledge, having gotten everything wrong thus far. I take comfort in knowing that you lesser-48ers are truly an ignorant lot.

Has yet to be proven in court....and he was re-elected

There's no law against keeping a few extra bucks in your freezer is there ?

The fact that he hasn't been to court yet didn't stop you from accussing Sen. Stevens now did it? Typical hypocritical liberal freak. Thanks for fitting into the stereotype.
