Default Hitting The Road

Here we go. We'll be hitting the road in just a few hours. Trailer is packed to the gills. We hope it's just not too loaded.

We're not traveling far our first day, just up to Marquette, MI for the night.
Sept. 2nd & 3rd, Bemidji, MN
Sept. 4th, Williston, ND
Sept. 5th, Great Falls, MT
Sept. 6th - 8th, Hungry Horse, MT
Sept. 9th Spokane, WA
Sept. 10th & 11th, Bellingham, WA
Sept. 12th, Board Alaska Marine Highway

We'll be in Whittier Sept. 18th.

God speed. You may just just cross paths with Alaskapat who's on her way down. Still think I could have just hooked a tow chain to the back of your convoy and you never would have noticed me Seriously though, have a safe trip and we will be waiting to hear you made it safe and are all settled!

Buy some groceries to take on the ferry with you. They have a microwave for public use. Otherwise, while very tasty, ferry food is way overpriced...

Default Please keep me updated

Hi Nephler, we are planning on moving to Alaska in Aug-Sept 2009. I would really appreciate an update on how things go. If you don't mind, could you tell me what kind of vehicle you are driving and what kind of trailer you are hauling. We are still confused about what to get. We are going to shop around in the next week or two for a heavier vehicle. We currently have a Ford Windstar but know that it won't haul anything so we are thinking of maybe a Durango or a Suburban. Still not sure what size of trailer we will haul and want to be sure to get the right kind of vehicle for the trip. Please let us know how things go. Feel free to email me: Chrystal.Frey@valpo.edu Thanks.

As for the email address goes, anyone who lives in Alaska or knows anything about Alaska is free to email me as well. It's not just for Nephler.
Thanks
