Don't know of any offhand, but then I haven't been looking. There's usually a half-dozen or so rentals advertised in the local paper (Seward Phoenix Log), especially in the spring/summer. But you won't find those ads on their website. Guess they want everyone to pay-up and subscribe. You can do a Google search for "Seward Phoenix Log".

I used to follow the ads in the paper. I guess the parent company has stated they're changing to an online subscription, but they haven't yet. Oh well, thanks.

Well, I scewed up, and too much time has passed for me to be able to edit my reply, so I'll just quote it and add my comment.
After checking around, I found out the rentals here are more plentiful in the winter, when the seasonal workers have left. In the spring (like May) they come back looking for work, and snatch up the available rental units. A word to the wise: anyone contemplating coming here should line up a place to stay before May...

JoDan: sent you a PM. There's a house for rent literally down the street from me.

Heading To Alaska is on a distinguished road
What a great discussion here, I have learned a lot about Seward
I will be moving up there from Washington State in late August to be with my adult sons
who already live and work up there

This is a very exciting time for us ( my sons and I)
I have been busy contacting some Businesses in the Seward area
looking for possible leads for employment Computer Repair and Automotive parts, While I don't expect a reply saying "Come on up we, have a job waiting" I am hoping to generate some interest because I do not and wont be a burden on my Sons, We are really looking forward to being with each other in August And I must say I really love the Beauty of the Town and surrounding area.... I hope to find work and a home soon after arriving
Thanks again for the welcome.......Johnny

Spent the last few days in Seward getting a boat ready to take to Anchorage. Clear days and all perfect weather, everyone looked stunned from all the sunlight!

Had a postcard from Title Wave at one time with a pic of a street full of people crouching and with their hands in front of their eyes.. "Southeast residents finally see the sun."
