I recommend going up to the valley, it's beautiful this time of year. We went up the hill opposite the ski lifts on Sunday and the picking wasn't too bad. The berries are still good up there. What a weird season, there are ripe berries and totally yellow ones on the same bush. Also, the leaves are turning, but the berries are just now ready. I wonder what next year will be like.
