I put in 50 hours this week, so, yep.

I've always been a winter person, the cold doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'm just waiting to see if my tires can cut the mustard for a bit longer or if I have to drop $1000 on some new studded snow rubber.

Oh I know...I kick myself for not sucking down the grog last eve. I told my Da that he had the lights over his head last eve...he is of the mind that 'you've seen them once, you've seen them all'.

I don't know even though I have never seen them I don't think I would agree with him.

Poor lad...that is a lot of hours. Winter doesn't bother me either...and now that I don't have to contend with gale force winds on a constant basis, I am enjoying it more.

Truly...you never get tired of them. I don't know how many times I went outside up there and -20 or colder, just to see them again.

My first memory of them was in North Dakota - we resided just 10 miles from the Canadian border for a few years and I believe I was 11 when I first saw them. I could never get enough then. Moving all about I am always keeping an eye out for them, and nagging anyone else to watch for them as well
I've mentioned they are an obsession of sorts. I suppose there could be worse things

I'll be watching the sky this evening...but it was pretty overcast a couple hours ago.

The projected Kp prediction for this eve is 7 according to spaceweather.com and from what I can see on the charts, they are coming fiercely. I thought about heading north and just camping out for awhile...but they are socked in with clouds as well. We need to shoo the clouds away

Perhaps you should pray for a nice 100mph gust to chase the clouds away.
