Geophysical Activity Summary 03/2100Z to 04/2100Z:
The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled during the past 24

velocity showed a steady decline after 0700Z and was around 380 km/s
at forecast issue time.
IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is
expected to be generally unsettled with chance for an isolated
active period for the first day (05 December). Quiet to unsettled
levels are expected for the second day (06 December) and generally
quiet levels are expected for the third day (07 December).

I will be looking forward to the Kp 3's Saturday and Sunday, and hoping for NO CLOUDS! And yes, Highlandlady, thinking CHILI! CHILI! CHILI!
I wish you luck of it...and am sending fiery chili thoughts in your direction. It has been nothing but snow flurries and clouds for these past nights, more snow for this night so alas, no viewing pleasure for me.

The geomagnetic field activity was mostly quiet. One period of
active to minor storm conditions was observed between 0900-1200Z.
IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is
expected to be quiet to unsettled on day one (6 December), followed
by quiet conditions for the remainder of the forecast period (7-8
Dec) as the high speed stream subsides.

Yes and Kp indices are expected to be around 4. The sky was green further north, albeit cloudy, last eve.

The snow that was forecasted here never materialized. It is somewhat clear here now...hopefully it lasts!
