I will most probably have to ask for time off as I work late shifts, as long as I have a date a couple of weeks in advance it shouldnt be a problem though.
Was going to suggest a Christmas gathering but everyone seemed to be so busy with stuff ..... great idea for the end of January

Now you will have to think it out really hard before planning this. Because unless there is a CME headed towards earth in that time the aurora won't be seen. Or unless there is a coronal hole letting solar winds buffet the earth at that time, The auroral activity will be very low. And at this date its to early to get any info for that date.
But I do hope that there will be aurora for all of you at that time.
