That would be a No. There was no fee for the gas pumping except that they kept the gas. 3,500 miles and 11 days into the trip, I'm alot more accepting of stuff than I used to be I knew I was supposed to NOT fill up as we got closer, but I forgot.
We donated clothes.....I guess we can donate gas, too..

When driving out to Washington from Michigan, I too was quite amazed at some of the vastness we drove through. Although, I did enjoy every bit of it.

This sum's it up..

Quote:"I think you're all screwed in the head. We're ten hours from the fun park, and you wanna bail out! Well, I'll tell you something, this is no longer a vacation . . . it's a quest! It's a quest for fun! I'm gonna have fun, and you're gonna have fun! We're all gonna have so much fun we'll need plastic surgery to remove our damn smiles! You'll be whistling Zip-a-dee-doo-da out of your a**holes! I've got to be crazy! I'm on a pilgrimage to see a moose! Praise Marty Moose!"

I loved that movie.. Wally World here we come..

Make sure the dog has a coat so if you break down he doesn't get cold.

The Parks Highway was pretty much ice/snow free up until Nenana. From there to Fairbanks it has snow and ice on it. The hills were a bit slippery coming into Fairbanks. We're heading down tomorrrow morning for the weekend in Anchorage and back to here on Sunday.
