I have been doing research on many places in alaska colorado montana and my home state of idaho. I just cant find any information on the average snow depth for places like valdez wasilla and talkeetna. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I only ask because the more the better. Thanks

Talkeetna gets...not as much as Valdez, more than Wasilla.

You have to be far more specific than just "Valdez area" or the like when you're talking about snow depth accumulation. The exact terrain makes a huge difference, particularly when there are significant terrain features like mountain ranges involved. The town of Valdez might get about fifteen-twenty feet over the entire winter, but Thompson pass probably gets at least triple that. Just over the pass it might be half of that. Your best bet to get really detailed data is to research via the avalanche experts and the natural resource management types with Game and Fish, they're typically the ones out there actually measuring snowfall, other than in the urban areas.

The peninsula varies greatly. Some years we get dumped on in Sterling..some years we don't get diddly. Homer and Seward can get many feet of snow being on the coast, and the mountains get plenty. Girdwood probably get's the most where they are located. And thats where the ski resort is.

It does that at my house too! Some years we barely get snow before Christmas...and I've seen 3 foot of snow at Halloween.
