OK, I'm screwed. My wife is dead asleep. I have four computers in my house and my mother-in-law crap is going to kill me.

My stress level is unbelievable. Every single.last.person that has heard about my situation, including my father-in-law-brother-in-law, agrees with me. I'm pissed without belief.

Up here, we are all very conservative! Like with snow, for example... we only use about 30 inches a year, and we recycle it.

First we let it blow (at about 12 mph) from the east for a week or two, then we let it blow back the other way from the west for a few days (at 30-40 mph). And we let that alternate from October through the end of May.

That way we only need a little sprinkle of new snow every day, not a whole diluge the way they do it down south.

My husband left for work this morning heading to Fairbanks at 4:15 the temp was a warm cozy 27. He called when he arrived to let me know the snow was coming down on the Eagle and 12 mile Summit so hard that he could barely see. They say we are suppose to get snow 3 days this week. I am not sure I am totally ready for it I must say but I don't guess I can stop it.

Embrace it! Welcome it! The quiet roar of new falling snow! Will wash the air and blanket the trees. I can't wait...
