Property tax in the Fairbanks North Star Borough is very high. It does not kill me (that's true), but it is hard on people with fixed incomes.

Again, if Palin is not qualified for the vice presidency, so isn't Obama for the presidency. A president and vice rely on the people they surround themselves with (their cabinet), etc. to make decisions.
Your exactly right, it's unfortunate though how Obama supporters can't seem to understand this concept. If they want to support this man then more power to them, but they need to get off the "Palin isn't experienced" theory because it's basically the pot calling the kettle black. Palin has a lot more proven experience and has demonstrated leadership far more than Obama. If Obama does win then I hope he turns out to be one of the best President's ever, but he doesn't have any sort of track record to suggest that he's going to do anything better than McCain or Palin.

Palin couldn't even answer a simple question about McCain's record on de-regulation.

"I'll try to find some for ya and bring them to ya".

Sorry about your property taxes up there, Ray.

But so do the other candidates. Obama spoke of 57 States, Byden told a Senator on a wheel chair to stand up, and so forth. All of them make mistakes, forget something, or don't know something. This happens all the time, even with former presidents and vice presidents.

I suppose the list could go on and on in that regard, Ray, and we'll all make of it what we will. But at a least most of us realize that the earth is more than 6000 years old, something that Palin seems not to be able to comprehend.

Sometimes there is a slip of the tongue and sometimes there is outright ignorance. Obama slips up in words now and then...to me it just isn't on the same par as not even knowing what the Bush doctrine is.

Personally, I think that the McCain has fired it's last load and that they've lost the gamble that they took with the ploy to stall the debate.

And the fact that they want theh VP debate to be dumbed down for Palin merely speaks for itself.

Johny Canuck is on a distinguished road
I was born and raised in the Yukon next door to Alaska and the one thing they have in common is a resident population on exceptional women. The Yukon has Diamond Tooth Gertie and Alaska has Sarah Palen. Alaska will have to share her with the rest of the Union as her and McCain will once again squeak in there for a win in the next election. The fear mongers are beating their drum for fear of wise thinking republicans when it come to justice, prolife, contolling greed, and helping the less fortunate. Sarah and Mr. McCain just have to maintain their honesty and allow the Dems to fall on their own swords.
