If that is what you base your vote on, how sad!!! plus if you think any Pres is going to legalize pot or even can you are dreaming. This is a state issue, not a federal government issue...

first and foremost you have the candidates confused: Obama's mother had him at 18, Sarah was 24 when she got married. What in the world would make you say such a stupid thing? She has no power to enact legislation to prevent your daughter from getting birth control information. That is the function of the states. of course if it was a federal government law it would have to be voted in by the democratic congress....I have no problem with discussing the pros and cons of any issue or candidate, I do have a problem with people who are ignorant about laws.

Actually, I base my vote more on my religious principles than on the question of the legalization of weed. Here's my church:

Suppose you show me where I ever said that she was a member of the Alaska Independent Party?

Oh that's right, you can't do that, because I didn't say it. Get it right next time.

you totally misunderstood me on this one< I certainly never indicated that. This is why I mentioned it at all. You referred to the article that said she was not.

Actually, you did just that, unless you want to excuse yourself by...virtue of having a less than stellar command of the English language.

And no, my reasons for not voting for ultra conservatives have absolutely nothing to do with anyone's stance on the legalization or decriminalization of cannabis.

Political threads of this nature quite simply seem to cry out for a bit of flippancy now and then.

But I didn't vote for Palin for governor of Alaska and I won't be voting for the McCain/Palin ticket.
