There's no debating it? Or no use debating it? Two different things.

The "community organizer" Republican talking point, complete with quotation marks, cracks me up. I don't know why the right started to trash-talk community organizing - wasn't Jesus a community organizer?

And that fits nicely with the McCain campaign's assertion that this election isn't about the issues.

And they're right - if voters don't make it about the issues, but instead get caught up in style and perception, well, we'll end up with more dreadful decisions coming out of Washington.

Obama has said repeatedly that he believes that the American people are better than that. I wished I shared his optimism.

Sometimes you have to shake thing up a bit to get the energy going again in the hard slog down the home stretch, and that's what Palin has done for the Republican ticket.
I disagree here. I think when McCain met Palin, he saw someone who would be underestimated in her abilities. More of a rookie starter than second string. Any other women politicos would have been brushed off as more of same old. I'd bet he jumped for joy when Hillary wasn't picked by Obama, allowing him to go with Palin and the added shock value. They certainly underestimated her before her blow-away speech and she has the potential to blow away any interviews and at minimum, hold her own in debates.

What I find funniest, is how people know her so well. They know exactly what whe'll do if elected and how you should be afraid of her. I find it amusing on how they've expanded on the dirt they've found, trying to make it into something big. And of course there's their vast knowledge of Alaska and how many ways they can put Alaska down. It certainly convinces me to their case.

I agree with you, there really are not many female republicans like her. WE love Kay Baily but her age would have killed her, also the party needed someone that would bring spirit to the campaign. This is just good politics.

In all my years of living in Alaska and various other places I've never heard of a Community Organizer. Maybe it's some inner city thing. We organized our own stuff and never needed anyone to tell us how to do it.

The media. Who are they? I hope Palin doesn't talk to them. They take, twist and turn your words into what suits them. I think she should do as Okra Whinery is. Talk to them after the election.

This is despicable :

With a disdain for science that alarms wildlife experts, Sarah Palin continues to promote Alaska's policy to gun down wolves from planes.

An Alaska majority just voted NO to stopping the predator control program mentioned in the link you have provided.
