I started to read this to gain some info and all I have read mostly are rantings and ravings by those who chose to discus things off the topic. I am surprised this thread is not shut down. If you all want to discuss things, then start another thread about those issues. I feel sorry for you who are unable to hold a civil discussion---I guess that would be a sign of intelligence---mine too for saying so. The old saying goes if you point a finger, you have three pointing back unless of course you are missing some.

Deal with it, vnodak. This is an internet message board. Conversations happen here the way they do in real life; they go off topic and subjects get changed, et al.
Last time I checked you weren't a moderator here so please do spare us your finger wagging; these conversations are not subject to your approval.

Agreed, but remember. We may have a lot of faults up here, but at least we don't wave our finger at someone after picking our nose with it.

I don't believe that free-market capitalism has failed, except in certain areas, including the banking institutions now going through such troubles. But these troubles have been created by government institutions, including Congress, that don't answer to the laws they create. All Congress does is to blame the other side, but if you look deeply, these folks have their hands in the piggy bank just the same. If you look deeply, you will realize that members of Congress have benefited from the companies now going down the drain. Some of the names have already been published, but still, none will answer to their dealings, just as much as the departing CEO's won't.

Not defensive, just letting you know that you don't dictate the content of the posts here. Please don't try to read something into that that isn't there.

LOL!
I met her once, last year at the Alaska Family Day picnic. She was very nice, and was wearing a skirt suit. I felt like a complete frump standing next to her in my hoodie and xtra tuffs.

Nothing wrong with a hoodie and xtra tuffs - hoodies should be made state uniform....
