I didn't even vote for her when she ran for Governor here in Alaska. I voted Knowles. She isn't my governor.

Subjects evolve just like conversations. This is a natural progression for this thread. I didn't post the info to bash Palin, I just found it interesting. So little news about native issues in Alaska ever makes it into the native american news email that when a story comes up its interesting to read.

Not true. If it is a good thing, then it is famous. If it is a bad thing, then it is infamous. Hitler and Saddam were, and still are, infamous.
As to the Ops question: I voted for John Binkley in the 2006 GOP Primary, when Sarah won, I voted for her for Governor. I will not be voting for Obama or McCain in 2008, which means I will not be voting for Sarah either.

guess what, like her or not, voted for her or not, yes, she is your governor!!!
You live in Alaska, she won the election by popular vote, she is the gonvernor of the state, cut and dry. You may not like her, you may not beleive in what she stands for or think she represents your views, but she is your governor...

Don't believe everything you read about her in the papers. A lot is being taken out of context, that is, they take a sound bite and leave out the rest, changing the meaning of the statement. To date, I haven't seen anything from her that mixed religion into state government.
Oh, and I didn't vote for her as Governor, so she will have no effect on my vote.

That is because she hasn't. She even went against her religious beliefs by vetoing a bill that would've prohibited same-sex couples from receiving employer insurance benefits because, she said, it would have violated the state constitution.
I've been following Governor Palin's actions closely since she was elected, and I didn't even know her religious preferences until after the media parked their vans in her church parking lot two weeks ago Sunday.
Sarah has shown no desire to inflict her religious beliefs on public policy, and I both respect and appreciate that.

Well, in my humble opinion, and for the world sake, i really hope that Maccain doesn´t win.
i´m portuguese living in Lisbon and from here i think that the Democrats don´t think so much about war or oil.... probably this is a cliché, but that´s how i feel. Democrat´s can take the US out of economic depression you are getting into
Go Obama

She really needs to get a sixth grader to help her out with American History.

Palin: Not on your life. If it was good enough for the founding fathers, its good enough for me and I'll fight in defense of our Pledge of Allegiance.
