Am I the only one that thinks this is creepy?

Yeah, you are so far--most people, especially me, find it endearing and cute, so go the hell away if you don't like it.

Two people who are total strangers choosing to have a sickly sweet 'affair' on line rather than taking it 'private' is creepy. To me, it appears stalker-like, desperate and voyeuristic. I will keep 'the hell away' since I see it as too weird for real life. Ewwwww.......

You two keep it up it reminds me of me and the Mrs. when we were dating long distance. I don't find it creepy at all.

Well its not desperate, or stalker type or even voyeuristic. There is nothing in any of these posts that is rude or crude or even remotely offensive. If you don't care for it that is your choice.
But the last I looked when people start dating they are strangers for the most part. And it has to start some where. And I chose to start it here.

The only thing I think is that they're going to need to get a room when they meet up.

I see this as no different from people who meet in online chat rooms and eventually get married. Rance and Sweden are an example of this. True, there are stalkers out there, but I think Alaskagrl is tough and smart enough to handle any problems.

IMO, this world needs more of the 'sickly sweet' and less of the politically correct mumbo jumbo. Chivalry is a lost art...it is refreshing to see that John still utilizes it. As does the husband. I can take care of myself, but am not a feminist enough to ignore honest chivalry. I think this is endearing as well...sweet, not sickly, and it is refreshing to see such things unfolding. I wish them well, I wish them love and joy of it....and I am honoured to 'witness' this minute moment.
