Bethel
People bring up old threads too much for my tastes. Might as well make a new one to answer any questions on moving here.
How to ship a vehicle by air:
Northern Air Cargo Northern Air Cargo
Welcome to Everts Alaska Everts Air Cargo
Lynden Air Cargo: Home Page Lynden Air Cargo
How to ship by barge:
Northland Services Northland Services
Alaska Logistics Home Alaska Logistics
For pets, they have to fly in the same plane as you, no real choice there. There are no roads in or out of Bethel, flying is the only way to get here. We aren't on the State Ferry service, so that's out, too. You have three choices of flying out here, Alaska Airlines, Frontier Alaska, and ERA. They have multiple flights a day to here. Alaska utilizes a 737-400 Combi most flights and sometimes their other fleet of 737s. Frontier uses a Beech 1900C as does ERA along with a Dehaviland Dash-8.

Here's a bit of useless trivia for you.
About 3 years ago on a ride from the airport to AC I counted thirteen 80's model Subaru Station Wagons. Seems like a Subaru blight must have struck....I've seen more dead in the last year than alive. The end of an era.

Thanks for this info
Thanks for this info. I have never used this forum so am unsure which thread to use. This answered my questions and I have gained much information from your postings on other threads.

A few years ago some dude bought up all the used Justy's here and used all the parts to make one. I still see it on the road. My old Brat still runs! That was a fun little car, a tad small though. I wonder if they'd sell it...

Well, let's see..... I suppose they could always be used as a very large paper weight....They could be crushed and rolled into a large ball and used as a surprize entrant at the Talkeetna Moose Dropping Festival..... they could be crushed, cubed up and used as a fishing weight when going for very large Whales.....Remove the engine, put in extra seats and have them pulled around by convicts as they are serving their time, saves on gasoline for a localized mass transit system.....Uhhhhhhhh, I could probably come up with a couple more like, repainted as a new form of yard art,.... concreted into the yard, coated (blown styrofoam) as a Dog Igloo....
