Im familiar with the website and have used it many times to buy property. If you go see them in person though they used to give you notice of whats coming up for sale (and exactly when you can buy it), used to be AK State residents got 1st dibs. Im still legally a resident (voting and tax purposes) but just cant stop by like I used to.

Nothing has changed except they now have the Internet access to make it easier, so you can stop by daily still...

I have a 4.6 acre parcel. How far is the nearest road or trail from the lake? Is it possible to bring in supplies by land or must everythjng be flown in? Are there those, in the area, who are in the business of building cabins on locations like Deadman Lake property? If so, can anyone tell me who they are?

You are talking wilderness here, there is no contractors there. There are though some that will build in the wild for you, but you can expect to put out some bucks to have that privilege.

What you get there, most haul themselves. You can have it flown in by hello or float plane, but again, plan on spending coil...

Good luck.

Allegedly these lots are on higher ground and a south facing slope, I plan to fly up this summer to inspect them. What Ill finally do with them depends, I have no plans to sell though. If anyone has first hand info about this area Id be glad to hear it.
