Hello
My wife is an LPN, and she says the "traveling" nurses she's met that work through an agency make more money, and the agency finds the jobs for them, especially for remote areas. Might do a Google search for "nurse agency" and see what you come up with. I can ask her for more info when I get home, if you'd like.

Bud

I work for Fairweather...although I'm in Drilling as a consultant to ConocoPhillips. But if you need any contact info let me know. I can come up with some phone numbers and address'.
Looking up above there is a traveling nurse link for www.travelingnursework.com that may have some Alaska stuff.

Rance-

You know Ben Schafsky? He works upstairs in the Fairweather building. I'm the shop foreman for Marsh Creek Energy out back.

I've only been in the office twice since hiring on 2 years ago. They've cleaned house a couple times since. I know one or two secretaries and thats about it. So I don't think I've ever met Ben. But I may have to stop by and sneak out back, just to shake your hand and say hi.

Working minimum 7-12's now, heading out to a road trip (Glennallen to Valdez) on the 26th. Swapping batteries for Copper Valley Electric at the substations. We're completing 2 gen mods for Pioneer and starting up a pair of water treatment mods. Also have 14 gensets for the state in the process of manufacture. As far as medical hiring, Jessica Cheatwood is the lady to see.
